Alleyway House
The Alleyway House takes its name from the recent history of the site and the fact that the land was previously roved by cows throughout the night. The house is situated on an exposed ridge in Coopers Shoot and is designed to take advantage of unique coastal views and to withstand the rigours of wind and driving rain, offering moments of protection in various climatic conditions.
The house is separated into two ‘barn like’ forms that are designed to work with the natural contours and take advantage of the views toward Byron Bay lighthouse, Julian Rocks and beyond.
